At Matheny Fire Parts, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We understand that sometimes things don't work out, so we've designed a hassle-free return policy:


• 30-Day Return Window: You can return most new, unused items within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund or exchange.

• No Restocking Fees (in most cases): We do not charge restocking fees on most returns. However, a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply to certain items.

• Quick Refunds: We process refunds promptly, typically within 3-5 business days of receiving the returned item.


How to Initiate a Return:


• Contact Us: Contact our customer service team to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You can reach us by email at info@MathenyFireParts.com.

• Pack and Ship: Securely pack the item in its original packaging, including all accessories and documentation. If you received a prepaid return label, affix it to the package. If not, you will be responsible for return shipping costs.

• Track Your Return: We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure your return reaches us.


Important Notes:


• Special Orders: Special order items are non-returnable.

• Installed or Modified Items: Items that have been installed or modified cannot be returned.

• Restocking Fees: While most returns are free of restocking fees, certain items may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

• International Returns: International returns are accepted, but customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable customs fees.


Refund Process:


Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 3-5 business days of receiving the returned item. Please allow additional time for your bank to process the refund. A copy of your original invoice or packing slip should be included with your return to help expedite the credit process.



How do I return a core?


Matheny Fire Parts offers core returns for eligible items to provide additional value to our customers. Please follow these guidelines for a smooth return process:


1. Contact Us: Before returning your core, contact our customer service team to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the correct return shipping address.


2. Eligibility: Cores must meet the following criteria for credit:

• Like-for-like: The core must be the same type and model as the originally purchased part with no core substitutes.

• Normal Wear and Tear: Only cores with normal wear and tear will be accepted. Cores with cracked housings, broken shafts, or broken major components are ineligible for credit.

• Drained of Fluids: To prevent environmental hazards during shipping, cores must be completely drained of all internal fluids. Failure to do so will result in a $100 handling charge.

• Reasonably Clean: Cores should be reasonably cleaned of exterior oil, grease, and dirt.


3. Packaging:

• Wrap in Plastic: Wrap the core in plastic (a garbage bag is acceptable) to prevent any residual fluid leakage.

• Original Packaging: Repack the core in the original box the replacement part was received in for proper identification.

• Secure Packaging: Fill empty space in the box with paper or scrap cardboard to prevent shifting during transit.

• Include Packing List: Enclose A copy of your original invoice or packing slip inside the box, please mark on this paperwork "CORE RETURN".

• Seal and Label: Securely tape the package and clearly mark the outside with "CORE RETURN" in large lettering.


4. Shipping:

• Trackable Shipping: Use a shipping carrier that provides package tracking. This helps to avoid disputes and provides a record of the return date.

• Return Shipping Costs: You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.


5. Credit Processing:

• Processing Time: Please allow up to 45 days for your credit to be processed.

• Refund Method: Your credit will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
